DESCRIPTION:KEK Theory Workshop is an annual workshop on string theory and
  quantum field theory. Since KEK Theory Workshop 2014\, it has been held a
 s an international workshop. Speakers are invited from abroad as well as f
 rom Japan\, and all talks are given in English.\n\nWe hope the workshop 
 provides a valuable opportunity to have active discussions and inspiration
  on various fundamental problems in theoretical physics related to superst
 rings\, supersymmetric gauge theories\, black hole physics\, quantum field
  theories\, condensed matter physics and so on.\n\nThis year\, in the ligh
 t of COVID-19\, we have decided to hold the workshop ONLINE from Dec.15 (
 Tue.) to Dec.18 (Fri.). We will have morning sessions from 9:00 and aftern
 oon sessions from 14:00 (14:30 only on Dec.15)\, for the convenience of th
 e participants from abroad. Each day\, we will put a special emphasis on a
  topic which attracts great interest these days:\n\nDec.15 (Tue.): Topolog
 ical phases of matter\n\nDec.16 (Wed.): QCD phase diagram at finite densi
 ty\n\nDec.17 (Thu.): Machine learning applications to string theory\n\nDe
 c.18 (Fri.): Quantum aspects on black holes\n\nWe will have one or two i
 ntroductory talks on each focused topic\, followed by a few more specific
  ones.\nIn the afternoon\, we will have short talks with (15+5) minutes. P
 articipants can apply for the talk at the registration. The topics to be d
 iscussed in the short talks can be chosen from field theory and string the
 ory\, and they are not restricted to the above four topics. If there are t
 oo many applicants\, we will have to make some selection. Some of the talk
 s may be given in parallel sessions. This year\, there will be no poster s
 ession.\n\nNOTE: We will use the virtual meeting rooms on Zoom. The necess
 ary information (links\, IDs and passwords) will be sent to the participan
