February 4, Sunday, will be devoted to a full-day excursion. Destination of the excursion will be Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Lake Chuzenji.

This excursion is optional. A chartered bus will be arranged for the participants and the entrance fee will be borne by the school. To accomplish the excursion on time, a set menu lunch will be served at a restaurant by Lake Chuzenji. Lunch charge will be collected from all excursion participants in advance. Main part of the lunch is made from soybean milk. Since some dishes contain port and fish, two other set menus will be specially arranged for vegetarians (no pork, nor fish), and for Muslims and non-vege Indians (no pork, but fish).
Nikko and Lake Chuzenji are mountainous area, and February is mid-winter period in Japan. We strongly recommend to prepare thick cloths, gloves, caps, and other outfits for cold weather.
