Inflationary cosmology via quantum corrections in M-theory

Inflation is a promising scenario of the early Universe and it can explain cosmological observations of CMB. Although there are a lot of models for the inflation, recently it is possible to restrict them by comparing cosmological parameters with the observations. We investigate inflationary cosmology by solving the effective action of the M-theory, which consists of the 11 dimensional supergravity with quartic terms of the Weyl tensor. We also discuss perturbation around the background metric to compare the cosmological parameter.
