KEK Theory workshop 2018
<p>In the series of the KEK-TH workshops, this year we plan to have special days focusing on string phenomenology/cosmology. The workshop will also have regular sessions with broad coverage on field theory and string theory.</p>

Topological string geometry theory

Perturbative string amplitudes are correctly derived from the string geometry theory, which is one of the candidates of a non-perturbative formulation of string theory. In order to derive non-perturbative effects rather easily from the theory, we formulate topological string geometry theory, which is obtained by restricting the string geometry theory to its topological sector. Because string geometry is described by a superfield formalism, we first describe the topological string theory in a superfield formalism. By constructing a string geometry based on this superfield formalism, we formulate the topological string geometry theory. We derive the perturbative partition function of the topological string theory from fluctuations around a classical solution in the topological string geometry theory. We will discuss how to derive non-perturbative corrections on the partition function by using the localization techniques.
