Recently, Ref.~\cite{...} showed that the minimal gauged $U(1)_{L_\mu - L_\tau}$ model is constrained by cosmological bounds on the sum of neutrino masses. In this work, we compute the one-loop corrections to the neutrino mass matrix in this model and examine whether these cosmological constraints can be relaxed.
