Description
Within the J-PARC Materials and Life Sciences Experimental Facility, the µNID (µPIC-based Neutron Imaging Detector) has been utilized for energy-resolved neutron imaging at the RADEN and NOBORU instruments for over 10 years. More recently, a µNID has been installed at TAIKAN to act as a forward SANS detector. In this presentation, we will discuss the current status of these detectors along with ongoing development efforts to improve detection efficiency, spatial resolution, and count rate performance.
