For D0D¯0 mixing, it is known that the operator product expansion cannot properly reproduce the order of magnitude of the experimental data. The difficulty in the conventional method arises from the significant cancellation due to the GIM mechanism. In this work, we analyze mass difference based on the Schwinger-Dyson approach. It is shown that the order of magnitude of the observable can be improved, compared to the conventional result.
