Hamamatsu is conveniently located between Tokyo and Nagoya, and one can easily visit using Shinkansen, bullet train. It takes about 1 hour and 30 min from Tokyo or 30 min from Nagoya by "Hikari", which runs every hour. So, the most convenient would be to fly to Tokyo-Haneda and use trains.
The workshop site is directly connected to the Hamamatsu station, where the Shinkansen arrives. Participants are recommended to stay at the nearby (also connected) hotel where the organizers blocked rooms. The booking will become available at the time of the registration.
