About Fukuoka

Fukuoka is in the north region in Kyushu area and is the largest city in this area. Fukuoka is a compact city, where necessary infrastructure is maintained in the urban development. The local airport, the main station and the main streets are close to each other. The access to Fukuoka is relatively easy, so that there are many domestic/international flights in the airport and the super-express train called as "Shinkansen" is available in the main station. The subway connects the main streets to the airport and the main station. Participants might be interested in the following information to know more of Fukuoka.

Conference Site

The conference is held at Fukuoka International Congress Center. The access information can be found here. Please also find more details of the location and the nearest subway stations etc in the travel infromation page. A goole map might be useful to find more around the site.

The 5th floor of the International Congress Center is the highest floor and is provided for the conference venue. The main room is "International Conference Room".  The registration desk is in "Lobby" in front of the main room. The poster session and receptioin on the 1st day are also held in the Lobby. The same place is used for coffee/lunch break.
