A visa is required to enter Japan for visitors who have the nationalities indicated on the website below:

To participate the neutron and muon school, the type of visa should be “Short-Term Stay (up to 90 days)”.
The procedure of the application is as follows:
- The organizing committee will send a notification of acceptance to the on-site participants. (mid-September)
- The on-site participants are required to submit the webform by Sep. 24. Those who need visa are asked to submit “Application form for letter of guarantee” from the webform.
- The “letter of guarantee will be sent to the applicants by Oct. 21st. Please go to Japan embassy or consulate general that has jurisdiction over your place of residence and apply for the short-term stay visa. The documents necessary for the visa depend on the country of residence and the nationality. Please check the website of Japan embassy in your country for details.
