Description
We are pleased to announce the 6th KEK Flavor Factory Workshop (KEK-FF 2019) to be held on February 14-16, 2019 at KEK in Tsukuba, Japan. The KEK-FF is a series of workshops for discussions between experimentalists and theorists who are interested in flavor physics. In this sixth edition, we plan to focus on the physics at Belle II, which recently observed the first collision of electron and positron generated by the SuperKEKB accelerator. We anticipate rich physics outputs from SuperKEKB/Belle II starting in 2019, and the KEK-FF workshop provides an opportunity to discuss on them at the location where the experiment is on-going. We welcome everybody who is interested in participating in the lively discussions. Confirmed speakers include [Theory] * Monika Blanke (Karlsruhe) * Marco Ciuchini (INFN, Rome 3) * Aida El-Khadra (Illinois) * Paolo Gambino (INFN Torino) * Takashi Kaneko (KEK) * Teppei Kitahara (Technion, Nagoya) * Emi Kou (Orsay) * Zoltan Ligeti (LBNL) * Thomas Mannel (Siegen) * Stefan Meinel (Arizona/BNL) * Amarjit Soni (BNL) * Alejandro Vaquero (Utah) [Experiment] * Florian Bernlochner (Karlsruhe) * Patrizia De Simone (INFN, Frascati) * Koji Hara (KEK) * Yuji Kato (KMI, Nagoya) * Alexander Kuzmin (BINP, Novosibirsk) * Huijing Li (Fudan) * Chunhua Li (Liaoning Normal) * Frederic Machefert (CERN) * Felix Metzner (Karlsruhe) * Saurabh Sandilya (Cincinnati) * Christoph Schwanda (HEPHY, Wien) * Alex Seuthe (Tech U Dortmund) * Satoshi Shinohara (Kyoto) * Yosuke Yusa (Niigata) [Registration] The deadline is 20 Jan, 2019 (extened). The registration fee is 10,000 yen (covering reception/bancquet etc.) and is to be paid upon registration on site.
