QUP Workshop

Asia/Tokyo
Kobayashi Hall, KEK

Kobayashi Hall, KEK

1-1 Oho Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan
Description

QUP, the International Center for Quantum-field Measurement Systems for Studies of the Universe and Particles has been developing new measurement technologies and practicing science with them under the title of “Bringing New Eyes to Humanity.”

In this Topical Workshop, we will focus on the search for unknown quantum fields and the study of gravity through low-temperature detectors and quantum sensor technology. We will discuss current activities at QUP as well as future research directions.

We welcome the widest possible participation from domestic and international researchers. Those interested in collaborating with QUP and those with new ideas of their own are particularly encouraged to participate and engage with QUP researchers.

The workshop is mainly organized with the invited talk. However, time slots have been allocated for a limited number of contributed talks on related topics. You can request one when you register for the workshop. The deadline is March 20 and results will be communicated shortly.

We will also have a poster session and welcome poster submissions, particularly from young researchers and students. This will serve as a starting point for discussion among the workshop participants. The deadline for this request is March 31.
