Recently, the construction of three-dimensional conformal field theories (3D CFTs) using interacting fermions in the lowest Landau level on a sphere has attracted considerable attention. Although this approach is known as fuzzy-sphere regularization, it differs from conventional field theories on the fuzzy sphere. In this talk, we investigate the universality of this construction by introducing symmetry-preserving deformations of the Hamiltonian. Through exact diagonalization, we find that the low-energy spectra of the deformed models remain consistent with the 3D Ising CFT, providing evidence for universality. We then show that the deformed models can be reformulated as matrix–vector models and, upon integrating out the fermionic vectors, as matrix models. Our results thus provide a new matrix-model realization of the 3D Ising CFT, distinct from conventional fuzzy-sphere field theories.
