KEK Dormitory or Hotel reservation is required to be made by the participant themselves.
Please note that hotel rooms in Tsukuba are expected to be very limited during the workshop period. In particular, November 26 coincides with the entrance examination at the University of Tsukuba, and many hotels are already fully booked or offer only limited room types.
We strongly recommend arranging your accommodation as early as possible.
General Information
There are two options:
- KEK Dormitory: Requires the registration for KEK User Account in advance. The reservation becomes possible from 45 days before your arrival date at KEK. Once that date has come, reserve promptly since the slots are limited.
- Other Hotels: Daiwa Roynet Hotel TSUKUBA , HOTEL NIKKO TSUKUBA, etc.

User Registration for Booking KEK Dormitory
For participants who don't have a KEK User Account:
- Visit the webpage KEK User Information.
- Click User Registration in the left menu.
- Read the terms and click Agree at the bottom.
- Fill in the blank by following the guide: [English] [Japanese].
- You will receive your User ID by e-mail within 2 business days (via human processing).
For participants who have already got their User ID on the previous visit to KEK in 2007 or later
- Please login from the webpage: KEK User Support System. User ID is your registered e-mail address. If you don't remember your Password, please e-mail Users Office <uo1 (at) mail.kek.jp>.)
- Click +Administrative Procedures for Visiting KEK/J-PARC in the left menu.
- Click 2. Identify the purpose of your visit to KEK/J-PARC just below.
- Fill in the blank by following the guide: [English] [Japanese].
- You will get e-mail within 2 business days (via human processing)
Booking KEK Dormitory
We recommend early booking since many guests visit KEK for the period. Booking will become possible from 45 days before your stay (from Oct. 10). To secure a room with a private bath/toilet, we recommend making your reservation as soon as booking opens, 45 days before your stay.
In case you could not find available rooms but want KEK dormitory, please contact to our secretary (yukoohno[at]post.kek.jp, [at] ---> @): we have reserved 20 rooms (with bath / toilet shared).
