Description
To identify the vacuum corresponding to our universe among the vast number of vacuum candidates in string theory, we focus on searching for minima of the potential within a non-perturbative formulation. To efficiently generate string backgrounds determined by the geometry of internal spaces, we formulate the correspondence between simplicial complexes and colored graphs in terms of matrix representations, and construct mutation and crossover operations inspired by genetic algorithms. On this basis, we propose a numerical method for generating a wide variety of topological structures and discuss its potential application to the exploration of the string landscape.
