Satoshi Ozaki (1929-2017),
who was a senior scientist emeritus at BNL and a professor emeritus of KEK, has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to the design and construction of accelerators as well as his promotion of international collaboration in high-energy and nuclear physics.

A symposium to celebrate his career and accomplishments is held in the afternoon of April 20 (Fri), 2018, at Gakushi Kaikan, Tokyo.
