How to Apply for Long Term Stay Visa
Step 1.
Please send the following documents to MNPP_2018[AT]ml.post.kek.jp at least 3 months before your arrival date of Japan.
- Copy of your passport (PDF)
- Face Photo
- Application for CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY (FORM 2)
- CV
Step 2.
KEK will apply for "CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY" on your behalf at Tokyo Regional Immigration Services Bureau.
Step 3.
The Bureau will issue the above certificate and send it to KEK by postal mail.
Step 4.
KEK will forward it with other necessary documents to you by postal mail.
Step 5.
Please submit the above and other necessary documents (if any) to the nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate-General in your place of residence.
Step 6.
You will receive a visa with your passport.
Step 7.
Please enter Japan within 3 months after visa issued.
