To Osaka
Osaka has the following major gateways.
- A. Kansai International Airport (KIX)
- This is the main international airport for Osaka.
- B. Osaka International Airport (ITM)
- Despite its name, this is a domestic airport. However, there are many connection flights from Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND), Narita International Airport (NRT), and Fukuoka Airport (FUK).
- C. Shin-Osaka Station for Shinkansen (bullet train)
1.1 To Nambu Hall in Osaka University Toyonaka Campus
The conference venue, Nambu Hall in Osaka University Toyonaka Campus, is 450 m away from the Osaka Monorail Shibahara-Handai-Mae (#13) station. The monorail runs from Osaka International Airport (ITM, #11), and also connects to Osaka Metro Midosuji Line at Senri-Chuo station (#15/M08). (To be exact, the segment between Senri-Chuo and Esaka is operated by Kita Osaka Kyuko Line.)

1.2 Moving around in Osaka area
We highly recommend you to use ICOCA IC card. The ICOCA IC card can be purchased from ticket vending machines in most stations for 2000 or 3000 Yen including 500 Yen of deposit fee. The card can be charged in units of 1000 Yen on ticket vending machines. With the card, you simply have to touch the gate when you enter and exit platform areas. Read the Third Bulletin for more details.

Notes:
- If you want a non-smoking room, specify so at the time of reservation.
- Breakfast is optional at most hotels. Choose a plan with breakfast if you need it.

From Esaka, take Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Senri-Chuo, and change to Osaka Monorail bound for Osaka Airport, and get off at Shibahara-Handai-Mae (Shibahara).

Take Nankai Line to Namba (NK01/M20), and change to Osaka Metro Midosuji Line bound for Senri-Chuo, and get off at Esaka.
2.1.B from Osaka International Airport (ITM)
Take Osaka Monorail to Senri-Chuo, and change to Kita Osaka Kyuko Line (Osaka Metro Midosuji Line) to Esaka.
